Amazing Babies
Date and time: delivered in 5-week blocks each half-term at our Family Hubs.
Location: Abingdon Family Hub, Acklam Community Hub, Grove Hill Community Hub, Hemlington Family Hub, North Ormesby Family Hub, Thorntree Family Hub and West Middlesbrough Family Hub

Aqua natal classes

Breastfeeding support groups
Informal drop-in sessions for parents with questions about breastfeeding, or who want to meet others who are breastfeeding.

Leo’s Neonatal Stay and Play – The Amanah Project
An inclusive relaxed stay and play session for parents to enjoy conversation, games, craft activities and refreshments.
Location: Abingdon Family Hub
Date and time: Takes place every other Wednesday from 26 February 2025, 10am – 11.30am

North East Young Dads and Lads

A free antenatal course for all mums-to-be and their partners.

Location: Albert Park (Monday) – meet at the Dorman Museum, Stewart Park (Thursday) meet at the cafe

Theatre Hullabaloo – Let’s Play
Six-weeks programme for parents and carers of young babies and toddlers designed to help build confidence through play, especially when navigating developmental needs.
Location: Hemlington Family Hub
Date and time: Sessions take place every Wednesday between 15 January – 19 February 2025.
9.30am -10.30am
Suitable for babies aged 0-24 months and their parents.
11.15am-12.15pm
Suitable for babies aged 0-24 months and their parents.
1pm-2pm
Suitable for babies aged 25-48 months and their parents.

Theatre Hullabaloo – Yeti Play
A magical multi-play experience to share with your little one, which features games and stories during the February half term.
Location: Hemlington Family Hub

The play experience is free to attend and is suitable for children aged 0-8 years and their families
