A session delivered through our Family Hubs has helped to curb loneliness for new mum, Sabah.
After initially approaching her local hub for breastfeeding support, Sabah started to attend the Amazing Babies sessions with her little one, Joanna.
The sessions are designed to support new mums and dads through their first few months of parenthood, where they can learn ways to encourage their baby’s learning and development.
Reflecting on her experience, Sabah said: “I like coming to Amazing Babies as I enjoy meeting others and their children.
“We were so lonely at home and now we can go out and see others and I feel my baby gets a lot from attending.
“I am learning how to interact with Joanna and how important it is for me to sing with her.
“I’m also learning techniques that I can try at home – we recently made a musical instrument using household items and my daughter loves it, she smiles at lot.”
Amazing Babies is suitable for children under 6 months old, and you will be invited following your new birth visit from your health visitor. They are delivered in 5-week blocks each half-term at our Family Hubs.
